ACCESSING OUR SITE

Access to our site is permitted on a temporary basis, and we reserve the right to withdraw or amend the service we provide on our site without notice (see below). We will not be liable if for any reason our site is unavailable at any time or for any period.

INFORMATION ABOUT PAYMENT AND DELIVERY OF  YOUR ITEM

Please also note that any consignment left in our foreign offices for up to one week without collection will begin to attract the sum of  $5  U.S Dollar daily charge. Storage cost charges does not include cover or protection against damage or wear and tear in our storage facilities.  Failure to make payment on accumulated non- collected item will be confiscated until the bill is fully cleared.Please customers need to be aware that we do not take responsibility for damage, wear and tears etc on any consignment abandon in our warehouse both in the UK and in Nigeria . It is customers responsibility to collect their consignment on time ; for   Any consignment which is not collected over the period of 3 Month will be confiscated and sold at Auction to recoup for storage cost.

 

SENDING YOUR GOODS TO US FROM OVERSEAS

Customers who live abroad or cities and town far from us must speak to us or email us before sending us any deliveries. Upon speaking to us, such customer agrees to email us a copy of their international passport as well as their proof of address before sending their cargo to our office. Any customer who fails to inform us is acting against our company’s terms and conditions and we shall not be held liable for any loss, rejected  or undelivered freight.

Update to our Terms and conditions on sending goods to our warehouse for cargo or shipment to Nigeria. Date: 11th of November 2016

To prevent fraud and some unwholesome practices. Any customers sending their cargo to Nigeria or from Nigeria to either our UK office or our Nigeria office must meet the criteria below:

A proof of address of where you live in Nigeria or in the UK with your telephone number.
A copy of your international passport or a driving licence.

Copy of these documents to be email to : info@cargotonigeria.com or info@cargonaija.com

Please do not send anything to our warehouse until you have submitted all the requirement. If you do send cargo to our warehouse without our prior knowledge, the cargo will be confiscated!

PACKAGING OF ITEM FOR FREIGHT

Customers are responsibly for proper packaging of their item. Sure man Ventures Ltd- Cargotonigeria cannot be held responsible for any improperly packed item which resulted into  loss or damage on transit of those  item therein. To this end, customer must be aware that the Handling charge does not cover packaging of their item, We reserve the right to accept or to reject any claims resulting from loss any item which doesn’t meet up to our package requirement.

PROHIBITED ITEMS

Cargotonigeria would in no circumstances accept or allow item classified as prohibited items as part of our freight. Items described as prohibited items includes and are not limited to the following: All items which fall under the category of fire arms,Illicit Drugs, Ammunition, Counterfeit currencies, Counterfeit Documents, Expired drugs etc.  Any individual or organization intentionally attempting to solicit cargonaija.com to freight Prohibited items whether as part of consignment,  or as part of collection, Verbally, in print or through electronics media will be reported to law enforcement agencies and any such individual or organization is liable to criminal prosecution. You’ve been warned!

INSURANCE POLICY

(We) Sure man Ventures Ltd operating as Cargotonigeria.com (CTN) , Cargonaija.com our  liability is limited to £195  on any consignment and may not count in some circumstances. It is your responsibility as a   customer to arrange additional insurance cover to protect your interest.

Shipment of Car/Vehicle Liability

We  and our partners in the UK or abroad are not in anyway responsible for any goods or item(s) put in a vehicle for shipment either by Ro/Ro  or by container vehicle shipment. Customers are advised to take adequate insurance cover  for the vehicle to be shipped. Customers also own the responsibility of making sure that the vehicle to be shipped is in good working conditions. To this end, we are not responsible and we cannot be held accountable for any electrical or mechanical fault which includes and not limited to battery, fuel etc.

 

AT PICKUP

Customers are advised to make payment into Sure Man Ventures  bank account and not to give cash to no driver during pick up in any circumstances.

Our drivers are not obliged to lift cargo which is/are considerably too heavy for lifting. Customers agree to bring their cargo to the drivers themselves as drivers are not insured to go into customers apartment to collect cargoes.

DELIVERY TIME

Although we try to delivery your consignment within 7 WORKING DAYS to Lagos and 10 WORKING DAYS outside Lagos on freight to Nigeria, however some circumstances which includes our  carrier airline transit times, industrial actions or any other unforeseen circumstances may hinder our delivery time, we will let you know should this happen, please bear with us. The delivery time for other countries varies, depending on which country.

FRAGILE AND BREAKABLE GOODS TERMS

We) Sure man Ventures Ltd operating as Cargotonigeria.com (CTN) , Cargonaija.com  and  our agents are not responsible for any breakable or fragile goods which includes the following: Television, Cutlery, Vase, Cookware and so on. Customers are  to make adequate provision in terms of cost of packaging materials to ensure that fragile goods are protected from accidental damage during transit.

OVERSEA TAXES AND DUTIES

Customer (You) is responsible for payment of any customs duties , charges,subscriptions, and any other associated charges by Nigeria Government  Agencies  such as Nafdac and some others.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

We are the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights in our site, and in the material published on it.  Those works are protected by copyright laws and treaties around the world.  All such rights are reserved.

You may print off one copy, and may download extracts, of any page(s) from our site for your personal reference and you may draw the attention of others within your organisation to material posted on our site.

You must not modify the paper or digital copies of any materials you have printed off or downloaded in any way, and you must not use any illustrations, photographs, video or audio sequences or any graphics separately from any accompanying text.
